Hello my dears, we imagined, that we, the Forest Sprites, take over the conception of our tin openers best personally.
Who knows them finally betty than we :-)
Dirk:
- the human tomcat in the house with only 2 legs
- Color and design: in the meantime a silver mc tabby - perhaps someday a Smoke; -)
- well socialized through Mohrle a black-and-white domestic cat during her short life (1975 - 1977)
- further education by Mohrles son Strolch
Stefanie
- either a human cat or but a cat woman - who knows: we decided,
to be waiting their further development only once in peace; -)
- Color and design: very often changes and she is not only therefore in no standard to be accommodated ; -)
- many natures with skin or rather feathers took part in her socialization.
There particularly to emphasize would be from the barking guild: Nicky and its son max; under the pinnated Nora, the Gelbstirnamazone and naturally last but not least the velvet paws: Geo, Fritz and Mietze.
(Our Dosenöffnerin today clearly still prefers the animals to most humans
- however a touch the biped could up-get in the meantime; -)
When our tin openers moved in February 1996 to Neuenkirchen (a small village in close proximity to Bremen), they wanted to extend as fast as possible their family by a cat. Really only one… well, but at the most two! Dirk had lost nearly one year before his Strolch, which had divided nearly 18 years of his life and a large gap left. It nearly seemed not possibly to find a velvet paw which could take a similar place in its heart…
But there they don’t know us yet; -)
This task became not really easier thereby that Dirk wished itself a cat,
those at least as largely will should as Strolch.
But Strolch weighed however at its best times 8.5 kg…
He was “something” too small for his weight, but in rolling nearly faster than in running; -)
It wouldn’t become simple to find such pussycat. Why the size was so important for Dirk? Perhaps you can better understand him, if you knows that he is “something” larger too:
2.05 m: exactly the correct size, thereby one - also as a large cat - reasonably can spread when cuddling.
Our female tin opener was at this time already at least once too often tripped over delightful descriptions and illustrations of our race. She was only afraid that she could not inspire HIM so easily for a cat with identity card (humans say race cat with family tree). But one beautiful day she pressed him with a totally harmless smile (that she can really well; -) such a part with many pages into his paws. (We believe humans say to it “book”). Purely coincidentally - honestly! – the book was already opened at the correct page. The description of our race failed somewhat poorly. But it was sufficient to create the desire divide his further life with such a cat …
If one of the two should have had at all still doubts, these were vacated from the way in April '96 on a cat show in Bremen. There they became acquainted with Solkatz Golden Sam of Forestsprite and his tin opener Carmen Schwermer.
And wound around the paw by SAM - our Grandpa.
Since then they purged incurably to the Maine Coon virus.
But we do not have also really the impression that they want to be healed; -)
With cordial “Brrruuu”
Your Forest Sprites
